"I never write reviews, but this place deserves all of my online love and gratitude, and you (who are considering shopping here, but wanted to read a few reviews first) will be glad you went to Fabulous Fanny's!


By far the best optical in the world! Well, the best in my world. They have an amazing and eclectic frame selection. Definitely something for everyone! Fabulous Fanny's offered the largest selection of true vintage frames, in very good condition. They also have their own line of eyeglasses, Spectaculars, which are (as the name implies) absolutely spectacular!

The frame selection and diversity is next to NONE! They have wooden, round, octagonal, 1920's, 1960's, cat eye, colorful, black and white, rhinestone (not for me though), anything you can think of! They had a pair of glasses shaped like a bicycle! Like, what?! They also have very trendy, more toned down frames if you're looking for something a little more bread and butter, but still Fabulous.

Most importantly, the service was epic! (I keep wanting to say Fabulous, but they already know they're fabulous!) The opticians on staff weren't just trying to sell me something, they wanted to help me look amazing, and I could really feel that. They said "no" to frames that didn't look that great on me, which I was thankful for because it's easy to get carried away in there since they have such an incredible selection. They were very helpful, courteous and tolerant! I must have made them look at over 50 frames on me, but they never acted like they were tired of helping me (even if they were), which was great!

What's the best thing about Fabulous Fanny's service? I took the frame I bought to my eye doctor, and I live out of state. They tried to put the lenses in, and they broke the frame! I was CRUSHED! I emailed Fabulous Fanny's with high hopes, but low expectations. We hadn't discussed any warranty, or return policy or anything when I had originally bought the frame, so I wasn't going to hold it against them if they said "too bad." Not only was it not "too bad," but after I emailed them, i got a response that they were going to mail me a whole new frame! (I was fortunate enough to have bought a newer frame, so they had more than one and could replace it) I'm so grateful to Ken at Fabulous Fanny's, I don't even know what to do, except write this review!.. and shop there every time I visit New York City!" Paul S, Lakewood, OH

Size Guide

Generally, we try to approximate XS, Small, Medium, Large, and XL for all of our frames. That said, sometimes a Medium for one person is a Small for another. That's why, in some case, you may see some frames labeled Small/Medium, Medium/Large or Large/XL - as these frames straddle these two sizes. If you're unsure of what size frame you need, you can always take advantage of our Home Try-On policy to check the fit. It's free shipping both ways, so there's nothing to lose.

Shipping Information

Any eyewear ordered without a prescription or custom sunglasses/tints, will likely be received by you within three (3) to five (5) days. For prescription or custom sunglasses/tints, we ask that you give up to seven (7) to ten (10) days. If after ten (10) days you have not received your order please contact us at 1.877.791.4199 or email us at customercare@fabulousfannysnyc.com.

Unfortunately, we will not deliver to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address, but these may be used as a billing address if necessary.

Our Fabulous Guarantee

We don't want you to feel anything less than fabulous. That's why we offer a 30-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy on all Classic Reproduction eyewear  including those with prescriptions! We will gladly accept unworn or defective items for a full refund or exchange, within 30 days of the date you received the item. For our Original Vintage, we have a 7-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy.

Moreover, our Classic Reproduction frames are guaranteed for one (1) year against product defect.

Our Original Vintage frames are true antiques. And, while we inspect every frame by hand to ensure it's good enough to be worn for years, your standards are more important. If within the first seven (7) days of receipt you are unhappy with your Original Vintage eyewear for any reason, you simply need to call 877.791.4199 or email us at customercare@fabulousfannysnyc.com for return instructions.

Return Policy

All returns must be shipped in like-new, sellable condition within the time referenced above as recorded by the shipping method. 

All refunds will be made in the same method used to purchase the item(s) being returned.

After you contact us at the phone number or email, above, we will send you a return shipping label and packing slip. All returns must be sent via the provided shipping label and no return will be accepted without a valid packing slip. 

All items must be packed securely and returned in like new, sellable condition accompanied by all protective materials and accessories including, but not limited to, temple sleeves, tags, cases, cleaning cloths, boxes, and booklets.

All returns must be packed securely and should be shipped in their original outer shipping carton using the original packing protection. If the original outer shipping carton and packing protection are not available, then you may substitute a strong outer shipping carton and foam packing materials of comparable quality suitable for shipping fragile items.

Fabulous Fanny's expressly reserves the right to refuse returns that do not fully comply with our Return Policy and all other applicable policies governing purchases made through www.fabulousfannysnyc.com. All nonconforming returns will be returned to sender at sender’s expense.

Our Warranty

Fabulous Fanny's Classic Reproduction eyewear are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defects. The warranty is valid only to the original purchaser with a proof of purchase. Alteration, misuse, abuse, or installation of non-Fabulous Fanny's lenses will void this warranty.

Scratched lenses are not covered under Fabulous Fanny's warranty policy. Replacement lenses can either be purchased through your local optician or by contacting Fabulous Fanny's. For all warranty claims, please contact our Customer Care Department at customercare@fabulousfannysnyc.com. To start the warranty process, you’ll need to send us the following pieces of information to properly evaluate your claim:

1.  Valid proof of purchase - to confirm the date of purchase for warranty coverage.

2.  Images or pictures of your product damage to help us determine a product defect and to identify your specific product for repairs or replacement parts.
