For three decades, Fabulous Fanny’s searched the world for the most unique vintage eyewear whose designs not only stand out, they stand the test of time.
Some are classics, some are truly counterculture, but all are authentic. And given that their quality is just as remarkable today as it was in the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s, it’s a testament to true craftsmanship.
Fabulous Fanny’s meticulously re-creates the classics drawing from yesterday’s master craftsmen. With modern colors and designs, we make the classics even better - using virgin stainless steel, titanium nosepads and the world’s finest acetates. Made from natural cotton fibers, we barrel-tumble and hand-polish all of our frames for an exceptional lustre and feel.
Fast friends, the men discovered they shared a passion for vintage eyewear from a bygone era when everything was built to last and movies stars become legendary. Each gentleman had enviable vintage collections and decided to join together and sell their eyewear at New York's Chelsea Flea market. When their little booth become busy and they couldn't handle demand, Ken and Stan opened a store in the East Village - the center of New York's counterculture - naming the store after Stan's pet macaw, Fanny; a bird who truly thought she was all that. And, in time, everyone came to know her as Fabulous Fanny.
Frequented by celebrities and those in-the-know, Fabulous Fanny's became an unrivaled resource for the perfect period eyewear for both Hollywood and Broadway and a mainstay for those who refused to be defined by mass market optical stores.
As Fabulous Fanny’s enters its fourth decade, optical industry legend and fellow vintage lover, BOB HILLMAN (Pearle Vision & Eyelab Founder) continue Stan and Ken's vision for a new generation looking to express their originality in ways both old and new.

Generally, we try to approximate XS, Small, Medium, Large, and XL for all of our frames. That said, sometimes a Medium for one person is a Small for another. That's why, in some case, you may see some frames labeled Small/Medium, Medium/Large or Large/XL - as these frames straddle these two sizes. If you're unsure of what size frame you need, you can always take advantage of our Home Try-On policy to check the fit. It's free shipping both ways, so there's nothing to lose.
Any eyewear ordered without a prescription or custom sunglasses/tints, will likely be received by you within three (3) to five (5) days. For prescription or custom sunglasses/tints, we ask that you give up to seven (7) to ten (10) days. Unfortunately, we will not deliver to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address, but these may be used as a billing address if necessary.
We don't want you to feel anything less than fabulous. That's why we offer a 30-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy on all Classic Reproduction eyewear including those with prescriptions! We will gladly accept unworn or defective items for a full refund or exchange, within 30 days of the date you received the item. For our Original Vintage, we have a 7-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy.

Moreover, our Classic Reproduction frames are guaranteed for one (1) year against product defect.
Our Original Vintage frames are true antiques. And, while we inspect every frame by hand to ensure it's good enough to be worn for years, your standards are more important. If within the first seven (7) days of receipt you are unhappy with your Original Vintage eyewear for any reason, you simply need to call 877.791.4199 or email us at customercare@fabulousfannysnyc.com for return instructions.
All returns must be shipped in like-new, sellable condition within the time referenced above as recorded by the shipping method.
All refunds will be made in the same method used to purchase the item(s) being returned.
After you contact us at the phone number or email, above, we will send you a return shipping label and packing slip. All returns must be sent via the provided shipping label and no return will be accepted without a valid packing slip.
All items must be packed securely and returned in like new, sellable condition accompanied by all protective materials and accessories including, but not limited to, temple sleeves, tags, cases, cleaning cloths, boxes, and booklets.
All returns must be packed securely and should be shipped in their original outer shipping carton using the original packing protection. If the original outer shipping carton and packing protection are not available, then you may substitute a strong outer shipping carton and foam packing materials of comparable quality suitable for shipping fragile items.
Fabulous Fanny's expressly reserves the right to refuse returns that do not fully comply with our Return Policy and all other applicable policies governing purchases made through www.fabulousfannysnyc.com. All nonconforming returns will be returned to sender at sender’s expense.
Fabulous Fanny's Classic Reproduction eyewear are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defects. The warranty is valid only to the original purchaser with a proof of purchase. Alteration, misuse, abuse, or installation of non-Fabulous Fanny's lenses will void this warranty.
Scratched lenses are not covered under Fabulous Fanny's warranty policy. Replacement lenses can either be purchased through your local optician or by contacting Fabulous Fanny's. For all warranty claims, please contact our Customer Care Department at customercare@fabulousfannysnyc.com. To start the warranty process, you’ll need to send us the following pieces of information to properly evaluate your claim:
1. Valid proof of purchase - to confirm the date of purchase for warranty coverage.
2. Images or pictures of your product damage to help us determine a product defect and to identify your specific product for repairs or replacement parts.
