Are your eyeglass frames genuine vintage?
We have two collections: Original Vintage and Classic Reproductions. Our Original Vintage is, you guessed it, genuine and have NEVER BEEN WORN. And our Classic Reproductions are inspired by some of the most famous people in modern history - from the late 1800s (Teddy) to the 1970s (Lennon).Â
We even have some from the '80s and '90s - but seriously, even though they're "originals," it's even hard for us to call them true vintage.
I found similar vintage frames on Etsy, Ebay or another online seller that are cheaper - should IÂ buy those instead?
Fabulous Fanny's has been in business for nearly 30 years and we stand behind everything we sell. Buying on Etsy and Ebay always presents a risk because: (1) they may claim it's vintage, but it's only a reproduction; (2) they may claim it's never been worn, when it's actually been used; (3) they may claim it's in "mint" condition when it isn't; and (4) they won't give you your money back if you're unhappy.Â
We're not saying you won't get lucky . . . we're just saying that you're taking a risk. Since our frames are all reasonably-priced, we believe the risk isn't worth the worry.
Here's a perfect example:
